Vienna

My friend said all she could think of was the Vienna Boys Choir. I have to say she is not being very imaginative when it comes to Vienna. The least that I can come up with would include Apple Strudel, Marie Antoinette, Stradivarius, and also the croissant. (Yeah, who would have thought the croissant came from Vienna.)

For those of you who are classical-music-concerts fanatics, Vienna must be viewed as a mecca, a once in a lifetime experience. But for those of us who are slightly less endowed in the world of orchestras and maestros, it really makes me wonder what lies ahead.

Blogging

I was just trying to sort out which blogs I should subscribe to and it took me a whole 10 minutes to maneuver the system. And I only wanted to add two blogs.

This is hard work.

Don't think I can return to the work force. Seriously.

我的奧運第一天

竟然下雨了。而且还是下起大雨。从机场一直往市区开过去，我们的出租车张杰师傅就表演了一幕又一幕的“开船”技术。车里头就播放着让人觉得内心很争扎的音乐，其实也满有趣的。水已經淹到車門一半的高度。

师傅说他也没发现旅客数目有增加很多，反因为很多北京人都避运去了，所以搭车的人确实少了。

明天要去八达岭。冷死了。

back in hk 看猫的日子

猫先生的睡相，是最好的圣诞礼物。

常常听人家说，猫兒都睡得很浅，都没有睡熟，耳朵一直都听着身边的一举一动， 但我就觉得并非如此。可能因为咱们家的猫都很爱睡，很多时候我都会忍不住上前强吻一下猫兒们的小脸兒， 结果常常发现他们根本就连眼皮也不会翻一下。

很不给面子。

（说实在，他们如果给面子，那不就变成小狗了吗？哈哈。）

think green

All my friends know me and my quirky obsession for recycling. I bite people's heads off when they throw out perfectly nice pieces of paper when it can at least be recycled. I bite my friends' heads off when they take plastic bags for their shopping. I even transport my trash from Macau to Hong Kong so that I can get it recycled.

I am so obsessed.

Maybe I should seriously think about making a career out of that since I am so passionate about living green.

是時候要轉工了

轉眼間已於澳門打滾兩年之久.

近日不斷的問自己, 這段日子學到了甚麼?

1. 學到了不要在辦公室交朋友, 因為我們對事不對人
2. 學到了只要說, 不要做 -- 這才是生存之道
3. 學到了金錢除可收買人命, 還可以收買你的時間甚至乎你的kidult性格亦可一併收購
4. 學到了學業可能讓你快人一步, 理想達到; 但遠不及搭上一個有名有利, 又願意用名使利助你一臂之力的有錢人

最重要的, 我想, 應該是學到了我這個人前人後都被喻為面面俱到的小女子, 其實比我想像中更加小女人. 看著貓咪打瞌睡的模樣, 就已經感到滿心歡喜.

偏偏我不能整天看著貓咪伸懶腰, 只能慨歎生活中奢侈的無可奈何.

why i get bored...

i am going to admit it. i do get bored pretty easily.

i think that's why my brain probably spins 3x faster than people around me (6x faster than those in Macau) and i never seem to be abe to stick to a job for more than a year.

i've been at this job for a year and 6 mths. i must be getting old.

the barfday

60% of the barfday was actually spent on the plane in a first class compartment. not bad for a good start.

haven't done that in ages actually, but I did go to have dinner with my grandma, which was really cool and goo tse (my auntie) even bought me a 1lb bday cake to cut. i was floored.

have been trying to get more pic from my travels up on my blog, but it takes time when you're not a photographer by default. will try to get more done when i can get my life a little bit more together.

hang in there everyone.

BTW, being 30 doesn't feel any different. at least i am not sensing anything dropping gradually south yet.
